This is the Cambridge AS & A Level Physics 9702 Paper 1, variant 2, sat in May/June 2016. Do the paper under exam timing first, then mark it yourself with the mark scheme. That second step is where the grade actually moves.

What Paper 1 is testing

Forty multiple choice questions in seventy five minutes, which is under two minutes each.
The wrong answers are written to match the mistake you are most likely to make, so a clean looking answer is not proof you are right.
Units and powers of ten decide more marks here than physics does. Convert before you calculate, never after.
Never leave a blank. There is no negative marking, so a narrowed guess is free marks.
